Concrete Houses for the Poor Homeless people

Housing for the Homeless: A Life-Changing Initiative by SELAVIP FOUNDATION

In an effort to provide secure and stable housing for the poor and homeless in our community, we embarked on a transformative project to construct ten concrete houses. Prior to this initiative, many families were living in damaged huts, exposed to the elements and the constant threat of rain, cold, heat, and floods.

Our project aimed to replace these vulnerable structures with durable concrete houses, offering a safe and resilient shelter for those most in need. Each house was designed with the specific needs of the families in mind, ensuring not only protection from the weather but also a sense of dignity and permanence.

Impact on the Community:

  • Safety and Security: The new concrete houses provide robust protection against natural elements, significantly improving the living conditions of the inhabitants.
  • Health and Well-being: With secure housing, families are less susceptible to illnesses and health issues caused by exposure to harsh weather conditions.
  • Economic Stability: Safe housing contributes to greater economic stability, allowing families to focus on improving their livelihoods without the constant worry of losing their homes.

Support and Collaboration:

This housing project was made possible through the generous support of the SELAVIP FOUNDATION, Casilla 597 - Correo de Chile, Plaza de Armas - Santiago de Chile. Their commitment to improving living conditions for the underprivileged has been instrumental in the successful completion of this initiative.
