In an effort to provide secure and stable housing for the poor and homeless in our community, we embarked on a transformative project to construct ten concrete houses. Prior to this initiative, many families were living in damaged huts, exposed to the elements and the constant threat of rain, cold, heat, and floods.
Our project aimed to replace these vulnerable structures with durable concrete houses, offering a safe and resilient shelter for those most in need. Each house was designed with the specific needs of the families in mind, ensuring not only protection from the weather but also a sense of dignity and permanence.
This housing project was made possible through the generous support of the SELAVIP FOUNDATION, Casilla 597 - Correo de Chile, Plaza de Armas - Santiago de Chile. Their commitment to improving living conditions for the underprivileged has been instrumental in the successful completion of this initiative.
