Krishna Nagar, a small hamlet in Sennakunam village, Villupuram district, is home to 150 families living in severe poverty. The community comprises Hindu Adhidravidar, Christian Scheduled Caste, and Arundhatiyar families, all struggling with inadequate water supply and daily hardships.
This project, sponsored by Rev. Neil Fairlamb from the UK, aims to provide a sustainable solution to the water scarcity issues in Krishna Nagar. The initiative involves improving the local water supply system to ensure consistent and clean water access for all residents.
The project has significantly improved the villagers' quality of life by addressing their critical need for clean drinking water. It has reduced conflicts over water access and alleviated daily struggles related to water scarcity, contributing to better overall well-being.
The project has received crucial support from Rev. Neil Fairlamb from UK and local community leaders. Collaborative efforts with water supply experts and the village panchayat have enabled the successful implementation of this life-changing initiative.
